Weddings are such a unique and special type of event, and it’s an honor that a couple would choose to have us host their most special day. Given all that is on the line, I want our couples to experience a smooth and worry-free wedding planning process. As a venue, I won’t be planning our couple’s wedding, but I will be able to help support their process with educational tools, efficient resources, and connections with other wedding professionals who also believe in higher standards.
The knowledge and experienced gained by earning the title of Master Certified Wedding Planner as a venue helped shape our business philosophy and keeps us up to date with standards and policies in the wedding industry. Being in The Bridal Society not only provides us with continuing education, but most importantly accountability so that we never grow stale in our business practices or relationships with our couples and other wedding professionals. We want our couples and fellow event vendors to have the best experience possible at Scarbrough Haven, and that happens when we are performing at our best.
About Scarbrough Haven:
Scarbrough Haven is a family-owned private and secluded estate venue located 75 miles east of Dallas in the city of Emory, TX. Our sixty-five acres are used for events ranging from intimate gatherings to large affairs. The highlights include: the modern yet industrial Aurora at Scarbrough Haven event venue, an open-air chapel, an enchanting greenhouse, an art-filled tea room, woodland walking trails, and scenic lakefront access to Lake Fork — one of the top bass-fishing lakes in the United States. We are a delightful fit for those wanting a pastoral Texas location that transcends the typical event venue.
